What is the difference between Sorties and Cycles?

A Sortie is a flight: each single-pilot, pilot-handoff, or training log counts as one sortie (ground-only flights are not typically counted). A Cycle is one takeoff and landing of a UAS and is used to recommend maintenance and inspections. Sortie and cycle counts match when each cycle is logged as an individual flight log.

To allow multiple cycles on one flight log: 1. Log in as the Administrator. 2. Navigate to the settings page. 3. Check "Allow Multiple Cycles on an Individual Flight Log Entry" and select "Update". 4. Log the number of takeoffs in the Flight Data section of your logs.
