What does "Grounded" or "FCF Required" mean?
The dashboard shows current airworthiness status. "Grounded" means the UAS is not airworthy due to an open critical discrepancy; resolve it via Open Aircraft Discrepancies. "FCF Required" means a Functional Check Flight is needed before returning the UAS to service after a critical discrepancy was resolved.
Clear a Grounded alert: 1. On the Open Aircraft Discrepancies page, click the Resolve checkbox for the grounded UAS (a prefilled maintenance log is generated). 2. Complete the Maintenance Log and indicate whether an FCF will be required. Clear an FCF Required flag: 1. Navigate to Flight > Add New Flight Log. 2. Select the UAS. 3. Select Mission: Functional Check Flight (FCF). 4. Complete the log entry. 5. Add Log. The UAS returns to "Up" status.
