How do I document that I changed removed and/or replaced a component?
Use the Maintenance Logs tab to log component removal and replacement, documenting where the removed component goes and the source of the replacement.
1. Add the date the maintenance was performed. 2. Select the UAS from the dropdown. 3. In the Component Replacement section, select the "Component Designator". 4. Document the removed component destination: No Removed Component, Send Directly to Scrap, or Send to Spares Locker (with location, reason, status, identifier). 5. Document the replacement source: No Removed Component, Add from Spares Locker, or Add Directly to System (with identifier and used-component data). 6. Select "Add Component". 7. State airworthiness status and select "Add Log".
