How do I authorize users to conduct Component Audits?
Only users with the "Component Auditor" permission can conduct audits; the permission is under Logs > Maintenance Logs in the permission grid. Audits are performed from the Maintenance Logs page.
1. Assign the "Component Auditor" permission (under Logs > Maintenance Logs) via roles or user-specific assignments. 2. Navigate to the Maintenance Logs page. 3. Select the "Component Audit" button. 4. Select a UAS from the dropdown and follow the instructional notes. 5. Check the audit box on each line item to audit (as few or as many as you like). 6. Enter the serial number and notes for each item. 7. Select "Log This Audit" when complete.
