How do I add a UAS that has had components changed already?
For a UAS with existing hours, use the UAS Current Preventive Maintenance and Component Editor to account for maintenance already performed. Option I (recommended) lets the system do the work from total hours; Option II logs each historical flight and maintenance event individually in chronological order.
Option I (recommended): 1. Enter the total hours and minutes on the UAS as of today in the "Current Flight Time" box. 2. Enter the delivery date in "First Date in Service". 3. Select the "Flight Log" tab and enter your first flight. Option II: 1. Enter "0" hours and "0" minutes under Current UAS Information. 2. Enter the first-flight date in "First Date in Service". 3. Select the "Flight Log" tab and enter your first flight. 4. Enter maintenance as you performed it. Component Editor: 1. Navigate to UAS Management and add a new system. 2. Edit the newly added UAS. 3. Click "Update Preventive Maintenance and Component Data". 4. Update the hours-remaining blocks for PM times. 5. Review and update Current Component Data for completed changes. 6. Review the Component Hours Report before the first log.
